This is my second year of teaching. I previously taught first grade at a charter school in Peoria, Arizona. I enjoy teaching and feel honored to be a part of your child’s life. We recently moved to Fallon from the Dallas, Texas area, and we already feel at home in this community. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, doing projects around the house, and spending time with my husband and three boys. I am excited to part of the Oasis Academy!

~ Benjamin Franklin
I have my BA in Elementary Education and Special Education. This will be my 17th year of teaching. I have taught everything from developmentally delayed preschool to 6th grade. I love teaching and getting to know my students every year.
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go!”
~ Dr. Seuss
I taught a 3rd/4th grade accelerated program back in Chicago for 6 years, and then taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grade math here at Oasis when we opened in 2011. I love working with this age of children!
I have taught students in grades 1 through 12 and also worked for the University of Michigan for two years as a teacher trainer, facilitating science outreach throughout the state. In addition, I taught high school science while serving in the Peace Corps in the Fiji Islands.
Howdy! My name is Nicole Hyde! I have been at Oasis for four years and I love the wonderful community we have here. I made Fallon my home almost 23 years ago after marrying my husband who is a native to Fallon. We have four wonderful children and one grandchild. This is my first year teaching 5th grade and am so excited! I enjoy this age of students and watching them learn and grow!

Words of Wisdom
You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.
