# Week of 3/9-3/12

Hello Families! This week is our last week before our Spring Break. We will have next week, March 16th-19th off. I hope that everyone enjoys the week away. The sixth graders did a wonderful job on their museum exhibits and did well accomodating the variety of guests. There are pictures of the exhibits at the bottom of this post.

The week ahead in 5th grade math: This week we will continue multiplying decimals and will learn the properties of dividing decimals by decimals. We end the week learning about units of measure and using our understanding of multiplying and dividing decimals to convert between units of measure. The week ahead in 6th grade projects: Thursday we concluded our unit on ancient civilizations and are moving forward on our human timeline. Our next stop is the Middle Ages. We will begin to investigate daily life and facts about the Middle Ages. This unit’s project will be a play based on a specific aspect of Middle Ages life. Students will create storyboards, write scripts, and design props to support their play.
