Week 28

April 9, 2019 by Brandt

There is a lot to cover since the last post…

In geometry we covered quadrilaterals, similar polygons and my favorite TRIG! We took advantage of some nice weather in early spring and went outside to measure the heights of different structures using clinometers we made in class and trig functions. We are just now starting the circle unit.

In algebra 2 we learned about properties of exponents, rational exponents, radical functions and exponential functions. The students created a situation modeled by an exponential function and presented a poster to the class, there were some really good ones. We are now in our trigonometry unit which is an introduction to what they will see at the college level and will test this week.

Please continue to monitor your child’s grades on infinite campus, and let me know if you have any questions.
