5th Grade Math – We wrapped up our Ratio unit last week, and the whole class did an awesome job on the test! They will be returned to students tomorrow. This week, we are beginning to study Decimals. We are currently learning decimal place value, and how to properly read and write decimal numbers. We will be comparing and ordering decimals. 6th Grade Math – We continue our Algebra unit. We will learn our last new skills this week before reviewing for our test on Wednesday, February 12. This week, we will determine if a given number makes an inequality true and we’ll graph inequalities. 6th Grade Projects – Thank you to everyone who came to our Cave Story presentation! The students did an awesome job. Some pictures are posted below. This week, we are beginning our study on Ancient Civilizations! The students will be learning about 7 ancient civilizations and then creating a museum display on one civilization!
