Week 18

January 6, 2020 by Mandy Helwig

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a relaxing and restful break! My family traveled to Pennsylvania to visit family so we did not rest at all!

We are back in full swing here! We’re finishing up our first semester; students have this week to complete any missing or incomplete assignments! Report cards will then be printed and sent home on January 16th.

5th Grade Math – This week we will continue with our unit on area. We will be calculating the area of rectangles, triangles, and parallelograms, with whole numbers and fractions. 6th Grade Projects – We are finishing up our last science project this week! Students are writing bills to help reduce the negative impacts of humans on the Earth. After this week, we will be moving on to Social Studies!
