Math Update: April 8-11

I honestly cannot believe I am typing April in the heading of this blog post! Time is going by so quickly. I hope all had an enjoyable, restful spring break! I am looking forward to getting back into a routine and finishing this school year strong. We still have so much to look forward to!

4th Grade Math:

Last week we finished up line plots and are moving on to decimals. We will look at converting, comparing and ordering decimals in the tenths and hundredths place. We will finish this week with an assessment on this standard.

3rd Grade Math:

Last week we finished up finding equivalent fractions. The class did such a good job on this tough concept! This week we are measuring things to the nearest quarter unit and creating and interpreting line plots. We have some fun activities planned to help solidify this learning.
