4th Grade with Mrs. Antoniono & Mrs. Feest

Week 17 with Mrs. Feest

Bighorns! The kids did a great job just jumping right back into their routines! I am actually very proud of them because that can sometimes be a hard thing to do! In projects, we finished up our Engineering/Scientific Method analysis unit. Students studied the engineering method vs. the scientific method and then researched how engineers have improved building strategies to design better buildings that will withstand earthquakes. They then designed three different structures based on...

HAPPY NEW YEAR BIGHORNS!!! We had a WONDERFUL last day filled with lots of Christmas fun! Our class had a fun exchange of Secret Santa, and the kids really enjoyed it. We were able to share that exchange with Mrs. Antoniono before she left for Chicago. The class did a great job wearing ugly Christmas sweaters and we were able to have Mrs. Mackedon stop by and take a class photo. See that at the end of this blog! In projects, we finished up our Life Science unit on plants and animals....

Math- Week 10

FOURTH GRADE Hello 4th Grade Families: I’m thrilled with the progress we are making in math.  We are currently working on a unit about multiples, factors, prime and composite numbers.  Studying these concepts is strengthening math fact skills and giving the children tools to see how numbers fit and work together.  Keep an out in the hallway outside our room for our Factor Project posters.  We have a unit assessment on this concept this Wednesday, and then we will be moving on to...
