This week in projects we continued our studying of the Genetics unit. Students demonstrated that knowledge by creating a monster. Due to behavioral issues I had to implement a new weekly participation grade. Each student will start off the week with 100%. If I have to remind students of proper classroom behavior, which includes our attentive listening, mutual respect, and no put downs, I will be giving tally’s out to them. Week of November 11

This week in projects students started their final project for ecosystems. They are in groups of 3, and each have a job. By the end of next week they will make a 2 part persuasive slideshow to present to Congress (me!). Their goal is to convince me that Congress needs to step in and help save their endangered species. Week of 11/4/19

This week in projects students took their vocabulary quiz on ecosystems and started their ecosystem project. They are in groups of 3 and each have a specific role for their group. We are planning to finish up this project on 11/19 and have the students take the test on 11/20. On a different note! Week of 10/21/14

This week students started on our ecosystems unit, and were introduced to their vocabulary for that. We will start on the ecosystems project in about 3 weeks along with a vocab quiz. Week of 10/7/19

This week students finished up their body systems project and presented. We took the final test on Thursday. We also started our new unit, photosynthesis which will end up tying in with our next project on ecosystems. In class they came up with a great idea for an experiment which we have also begun.
