October 30th

Hello! The last few weeks have been busy in projects! Students have finished up the energy portion and were able to complete some pretty fun labs in class! We are now rolling into Simple Machines. Students will be constructing their own version of a Rube Goldberg machine. We will finish brainstorming this week and they will begin constructing their machines next week. Hello! It was a busy time in projects last week and today. Last week the students finished constructing their final superhero showcases. They took their final vocabulary and open ended element question today. We began showcase presentations this afternoon and will complete the rest tomorrow. September 28th-Weekly Recap

We are rolling into the final stages of our superhero project! Synthetic materials was our main focus this week as students began choosing at least two synthetic materials that they could then use to enhance their superhero and its elemental powers. Greetings! We had another busy week in projects! Students worked with their partner to build a 3-D model of an atom that was specific to their chosen element.
