Welcome to the Oasis Academy enrollment portal. Read the following instructions carefully, paying close attention to dates.
Oasis Academy will accept applications for the 2018-2019 school year for grades Kindergarten through 12th from March 5, 2018 to April 19, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. The lottery for kindergarten and any other grades with vacancies will be conducted on April 20, 2018 at 10 a.m. Enrollment preference is given to those individuals who are the children of employees, board members or siblings of current students in accordance with Nevada law. The number of students drawn via lottery will be determined once students with preference are enrolled.
The only exception to this 45 day application window is for active duty military families who are transferred to Fallon after open enrollment has closed. The applications of students who have an active duty parent / guardian will be accepted year-round with proper documentation (copy of orders to NAS Fallon).
All complete applications submitted during open enrollment will be eligible for lottery the entire school year of that application period. Should an opening occur during the school year, enrolled students' siblings will be given preference. If there are no siblings on the waiting list, a lottery system will be utilized. This means that every child who has submitted a complete enrollment packet will have an equal opportunity to be drawn for the spot. In the event that there are no lottery applications for the grade with the vacancy, students who apply will be enrolled upon completion of the application process.
In order to be eligible for the lottery a complete enrollment packet must be submitted online annually, during the established 45 day window (see dates above). A complete enrollment packet includes uploading all of the required documents into your online application. Incomplete applications are not eligible for lottery or enrollment.
